I used this extensively while working as Transaction Monitoring executive as I was often required to Play a call from my PC back in to the Phone so that all my piers can listen and calibrate. We never had quality issues or never saw it going bad. The battery life was good as well.
As usual this is another solid hardware all Callcenter Quality Monitoring teams needs to have.
Only Con is sometimes new TME's had hard time understanding the setup. Could be simpler.

Despite its 80's desing, the switcher's features are exactly as marketed. Allows for great flexibility and connects seamlessly to my desk phone. Everything's great except for one thing: when using it with the Plantronics headphones HW261N, there is a (as the other reviewer points out) mind numbing buzz in background when using the telephone. The sound coming from the other input is crystal clear.
Tested with other brands and the buzz is still there but much further in the background. By the way, when connecting the HW261N directly to the telephone there is no buzz at all.

I just hooked the MX10 to my compatible 2-line ATT desk phone which is connected to my cable modem. This is a home setup and I'm using only 1 line on this phone.
I use a Plantronics Supraplus HW251 PLUSheadset (which is great)
Before the MX10 arrived, I connected the headset to the 2.5mm headset port on my phone using an adapter. It worked great!
Now with the MX10 there is a mind-numbing buzz for me and my listeners when I the headset. If I switch to the handset (connected to the MX10) there is no buzz at all.
I have the MX10 hooked up to the handset port of the telephone and configured as best as seems possible: it works in positions 1, 5, & 6 and the buzz exists at the same level on all three.
This is a huge disappointment for the cost, and while I see other comments about the problem, I'm also disappointed that Plantronics hasn't addressed this.
I saw one post in another forum that mentioned having to include a additional Plantronics piece for taking the phone off hook. I don't believe that is a Plantronics requirement.
Anyway, very disappointing.

This was the best headset on the market for presenters of on-line conferencing and attendees that would like the ability to record their meetings and include the audio of the entire session both presenter and attendees.
